ALMOHADS

Almohads was an ancient civilization positioned on  the Mediterranean, which put it in a position to be an ancient superpower with a great many trade routes and profits. It had a strong military at the peak of it’s power, which allowed it to take over huge swaths of Africa. However, a country back then could only manage so much land, so it eventually fell. It was rich in resources like gold and copper (Almohad Dynasty 2019). Because of the trade routes in africa, they could profit of the trans-saharran trade, and they also profited from taxes. Their daily life was  very basic, and they broke down into basic classes: warrior, blacksmith, potter, or hunter/farmer. They lasted amost a little over 100 years, with over 14 caliphs (kings).
